DENTAL CARNIVAL

In partnership with the Kiwanis Club of St. Petersburg, Project Save a Smile hosts a yearly Dental Carnival. This fun event is designed to provide an environment that gets kids excited about their oral health and encourage them to continue good habits in the future.

While Dr. Ron and his staff care for each child inside The Family Dentist of Tampa Bay’s offices, volunteers entertain them outside while they wait for their time in the dental chair. Activities include inflatable bounce-house, football skills obstacle course, face-painting and balloon animals from clowns, autograph sessions from Professional and College Football players while music is played and food is enjoyed.

Dr. Ron adds, “I truly enjoy being part of helping someone redefine their smile. Having the opportunity to help a child potentially realize the importance of oral health is paramount. I’d like to personally thank the generosity of all of our sponsors that made this event such a success for the children.” Dr. O’Neal and his staff provide digital x-rays, oral exams, cleaning and the placing of dental restorations.
